Tis the Season to be Thankful...

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! We have eaten most of our Halloween candy. The leaves have fallen and have been raked into piles lining the roads. The air is getting colder, and the holiday season is underway.  

We would like to welcome Ms. Tucker to the Barber Community Learning Center family.  Ms. Tucker begins each day with a morning meeting designed to get to know each student, allow them to share  ideas with her, and to ask questions. Her kindergarten students are inquisitive and always have things on their minds.   Recently, Ms. Tucker asked each student to share something he or she was thankful for, and we are sharing their list with you.

• Ms. Tucker- “I am thankful for all of my students I see everyday, my family, my friends and good health.”
• Mackenzie- “I am thankful for my friends, family, teacher, toys, and food!”
• Levi- “I am thankful for my toys.”
• Da’Monee- “ I am thankful for Ms. Tucker, my toys, my family, and all of my other teachers and friends.”
• Andrea’ “I am thankful for Ms. Tucker, my mom, toys, and the baby.”
• Aaliyah- “I am thankful for a lot of stuff.”
• Elias- “I am thankful for turkey, Thanksgiving, my family, my teacher, and my friends.”
• Nailah- “I am thankful for all of my school stuff.”
• Davon- “I am thankful for my friends and family and my toys that I love,”
• Karon- “I am thankful for all of my entire family.”
•  Hunter- “I am thankful for my family, my friends, and my dogs.”
• Jordynn- “I am thankful for my family.”
• Da’Nia- “I am thankful for my mom, my family, teachers and toys.”
