People in every state of the United States and in many countries around the world rallied together to show that Black Lives Matter. The struggle for equality persists around the world. The great civil rights leader Fannie Lou Hamer noted that “nobody’s free until everybody’s free.” Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. put it this way: “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” Art gives our young people an opportunity to express themselves and process events and the emotions that follow. These students created posters from choice boards in art to share that Black Lives Matter.
