Discussion of classrooms do a 15 minute craft/poem/gift for grandparents, 15 minutes in the bookfair, maybe a song organized by Mrs. Akers? The committee will be looking into maybe providing lunch for the students and their grandparents.
New Business
-
Fundraiser of selling discount cards for local businesses. The cards would be sold for $10.00 and are good for an entire year. A list of local businesses would be given to the discount card fundraising place and they call all the local businesses and do all the work. We keep $6.00 of every sale.
-
Spirit wear will be looked into by Sue Roseman and Liane Edge so when the final design is picked we can order.
Other Ideas:
In general discussion, we talked about the organization of the PTO and how to get parents involved. Communication through Barber website, Facebook, or other avenues to get parents involved. Having committee meetings later in the night so parents can come.
