5th grade Planetarium Experience

5th graders from Barber traveled to Firestone High School yesterday to visit the Planetarium and learn about their 5th grade science standards regarding our solar systems orbit around its star the Sun and the planets characteristics, the stars of other solar systems, motion, light, sound and energy. This field experience gave them the opportunity to learn about careers in space and those in fields that support the system and sciences of studying space.
